Airing Everything Out
Well I broke a few things over the weekend—including the galleries—but here we are. Windows open, coffee on. Pull up a chair and I’ll show you what I’m fixing and what I’m building. If you hear a thud, that’s just past me’s shoddy craftsmanship.
Here’s the map for the next few days. We open on October 1 (next Wednesday), so this week is about steady prep you can actually see.
THIS WEEK’S MAP
Galleries: fix Scribbles and Reflections; make the cards click through cleanly.
Newsletter (Oct 1): final copy, set sender, do a quick test send.
Site polish: accessibility checks (alt text, headings, contrast).
1st Novel: continuity pass on early chapters and outline a new scene.
OCT 1: WHAT’S LANDING
Welcome letter: why SALT+TONGUE and how to walk with it.
New work: one poem and one short essay.
From the long work: a behind‑the‑build note (no spoilers).
Easy in, easy out: subscribe if you want it; unsubscribe stays one click.
WAYS TO READ WITH ME
Subscribe for the Oct 1 letter, then first Mondays.
Share the site with one friend who’d like the work.
Bookmark the blog — Mondays 9 AM PT; Fridays 5 PM PT.
AT THE DESK
Not just essays. I’m moving a few things forward: a letter taking shape, a poem that won’t sit still, and a quiet pass on the long work. Some pieces will land in Reflections, some in Scribbles, and some will stay here on the desk a little longer.
Thanks for starting the week with me.

P.S. We’ll edit after we breathe.
