All words, images, artwork, and products belong to SALT+TONGUE unless credited otherwise. Share links freely, but do not lift or resell whole works without permission.

2. Your Conduct

This space is not to be misused. That means:

  • No spamming, hacking, or attempts at unauthorized access.

  • No scraping content for resale or commercial use.

  • No unlawful, harmful, defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory postings (if interactive features appear).

3. Offerings and Purchases

  • Products will be described as clearly as possible.

  • Digital items (downloads, zines, prints) are generally non-refundable unless otherwise noted.

  • Refund and return policies will be posted where they matter.

  • Buyers are responsible for applicable local taxes.

4. No Promises Beyond the Page

This site and its contents are offered “as is.” We make no promises that it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suited to your particular purpose.

5. Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent of the law, SALT+TONGUE and its creator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that arise from your use of this site or reliance on its content.

6. If Harm Comes From Misuse

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SALT+TONGUE, its owner, and affiliates from claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) if harm comes from your misuse of the site or violation of these terms.

Sometimes we link elsewhere. We do not control those sites and cannot be held responsible for what you find there.

If we ever invite comments, testimonials, or other contributions, you grant SALT+TONGUE a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display your submission on the site. We may moderate or remove submissions at our discretion.

We may suspend or end your access to this site at any time, without notice, if you misuse this space or break these terms.

10. Force Beyond Our Hands

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control — storms, outages, strikes, laws, or disasters.

11. Disputes and Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California.

  • Any dispute will first be met with good-faith conversation.

  • If that fails, disputes will go to binding arbitration or small-claims court in California.

  • Class actions are waived.

  • You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first use by emailing contact@saltandtongue.com with subject “Arbitration Opt-Out.”

12. If One Piece Falls

If a part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain standing.

13. This Is the Whole of It

These terms are the complete agreement between you and SALT+TONGUE regarding this site, overriding any prior understandings.

14. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe your copyrighted work appears here without permission, send a notice to contact@saltandtongue.com with:

  • Your contact information

  • A description of the copyrighted work

  • The exact URL of the material in question

  • A good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized

  • Your signature (digital or physical)

We may remove content while reviewing. Counter-notices can be sent the same way.

15. Export and Sanctions

You agree not to use this site in violation of U.S. export laws or sanctions.
